Welcome back to Fall 2021 at Quantum
Hello parents and students,
Welcome back! Hope everyone had a restful and meaningful summer with lots of outdoor fun and intellectual explorations in various camps!
Now that the fall semester is underway, we would like to remind you of the COVID-19 safety protocols that will be in place as students return to class. The following list of protocols is how we'll be keeping your families safe this term:
- Contactless temperature checks will be taken every day upon arrival.
- It is currently mandatory for all students 12+ to wear a mask indoors at all times (unless eating or drinking).
- We strongly recommend that students aged 11 and under wear a mask, but it is not mandatory.
- Sanitize or wash hands upon entry.
- Class sizes are limited.
- High touch zone sanitizing throughout the day.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required for all students aged 12 and older for all in-person classes.
To ensure that we provide a safe environment for all of our students, teachers and staff, medical grade air purifiers have also been placed inside the classroom as an extra safety precaution. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are committed to ensuring a safe and healthy return to school.
Another exciting news is that unit 6650 on the Richmond campus will be painted during the upcoming week! There are a few in-person classes that might be affected and rescheduled. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We are all very excited about the refreshed and touch-up look for the classrooms, and I'm sure you will love our new colour!
Again, thank you for your support and look forward to seeing everyone on campus and online again!
Regards,
Rosa Lenihan
