Important Reminder

American SAT tests will begin in early July this year. All students preparing to take the test are asked to prepare accordingly. We provide SAT preparation classes specifically geared towards Grade 10/11 students who are preparing to apply to American universities in the coming years. Students who intend to apply for Ivy League schools should definitely sign up.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering is a great way for students to give back to the community, gain experience in a certain area, and develop their skills. Now, with universities looking for social involvement alongside academic rigor, volunteering has become more important than ever.

In addition to improving a student’s performance in the classroom, Quantum is committed to providing students with valuable volunteer opportunities that can help foster creativity, teamwork, and leadership.

Through these certified volunteer opportunities and practical workshops offered by industry professionals, Quantum vows to offer students opportunities to explore their areas of interest and turns these experiences into instrumental milestones in the process of building the students’ bright futures.

US Summer School Application

Students applying to the US will know the importance of attending summer school at reputable American universities. Summer programs can help bolster a university application significantly, as universities are always on the lookout for students who take part in new experiences outside of school hours.

Students this year applied to:
  • Middle School:
    • Phillips Exeter Academy
  • High School:
    • John Hopkins
    • Cornell
    • Standford
    • Columbia
    • NYU
    • Toronto
    • Waterloo

The application process for these summer programs is quite similar to the university application process, which means that students who play an active role in their own enrolment can gain some practice with filling out admission forms before they need to apply to a post-secondary institution. We hope that even more 6th and 8th grade students will take initiative and apply to summer programs this year. Applications for more prestigious summer schools start in December, and courses are assigned on a first-come first-serve basis. Students are expected to prepare well in advance.
