AP Results

To all of our students who took the AP exams this year -- congratulations! Exam results were released a few weeks ago, and we are pleased to share that each of our students did very well, earning top scores across the board.

AP courses are intro-level college courses that are offered to students in high school. Upon successful completion of these courses, students can take the credits they earn and use them towards their classes in college. Even if students are not looking to earn extra credits, enrolling in AP courses in high school is still recommended, as universities often look for academic rigour when going through applications.

Here at Quantum, we offer a range of AP courses for students to take -- more information can be found about them on our site: www.qlearning.ca, or you can call us at 604-279-6889.

Fall Schedule

With September fast approaching, it’s important for parents and students to take a look at our fall schedule. If you have any questions about the timetables pictured below, please call or send us an email, and we would be happy to assist you.

Ms. Janey's Language Arts Camp

A lot of exciting things have happened this August, including Ms. Janey’s summer camp for 4-6 year old students, which ran for three weeks. Each child was provided with a binder filled with worksheets that were specifically tailored to suit their writing and reading abilities, and they were taught the importance of persistence as they worked through their folders. They also enjoyed regular storytime sessions, where Ms. Janey helped them develop their critical thinking skills by asking them to identify the plot, characters, and themes after each story was done. These books provided inspiration and foundational knowledge for when the students were tasked with writing and illustrating their own stories, which they then presented in front of the class. Though summer camp has come to an end, we hope that everything the students learned will stick with them as they get ready to return to school in the fall!
